Testing the Hagg

On Friday, Paul had finished working on the blue Hagglunds and needed to take it for a test run to check for any further problems. He had to have someone go with him as a safety precaution, and I happened to be in the right place at the right time. The best bit was that the sun was up, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and there was a full moon - all excellent for photography. The first shot where I was playing with the night mode and self timer function. Let me tell you that tripods are a great invention, as this shot was taken without one - I had to lie on the ice to set it up and it was bloody cold (well, duh!).

This second photo was done with a tripod, and it is of Paul shooting the moon and station. If you look really closely you can see the station in the background. Trust me, it looks good full size!

What fantastic photos! We could see them full size and they are brilliant. The first one is amazing with the full moon behind you and the sun reflecting off the side of the Hagglund - a nice one of you too. And the other of Paul is also really good with the full moon up and Davis in the background. Sensational!

Hey Boona.
Its James from netball here.
Just had a look at what you've been up to lately. Looks like your having a ball. Some of those photo's are awsome. Even without them you'll have them in your mind forever.
Thought id drop you a quick line to say hi, and let you no whats been happening. You,ve prolly heard by now about netball but if not, our team the Spondonicles won the section 2 final beating the realy annoying team in which the 2 chicks wear pants, and skirts.(wierdo's)
Playing her first season, and not liking it too much, Jess won the b.o.c. for the game, only playing 3/4 of the match, and the bit you might like.. she was in GD/GK. apparently i was the other person in contention playing GS, but only scored 24 pts, so apparently not quite good enough.
We were meant to move to section 1 and play our old teams but pulled out (on a high note) to play basketball again.
There were a few rumours about it tho, thinking we might not be up to playing up to the standards against the "good" teams, as our old team and katie's combined, and are now subsequently crap. (Which havent won a flag in 3-4 seasons.) hahaha.
Anyway mate will have to jump back on when ive got some more time up my sleeve.
Take it easy mate.
Lots of man love, James.
